2006 Winning Team includes Neil Grange from Miami FL, Fenton Langston of Key Largo FL, Rodger Wilson of Homestead FL, and Jimmy David from Miami. Day one this team released 15 sails while fishing aboard Relentless, with Captain Paul Ross, at the helm. During day two they stayed ahead of the rest of the fleet by releasing an additional 16 sails, making there two day total 31 releases and securing them the first place position of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT NEWS
The Outdoor Channel Offshore Classic is one of the newest World Class Sport Fishing events produced by the Outdoor Channel. Join the excitement, fishing and camaraderie at an established Sailfish Tournament held each year in Islamorada, Florida! A 2 day fishing event with lots of party's and fun wrapped around the best fishing location in the Florida Keys.

FROM THE FLORIDA KEYS:
January is the best month for Sailfish. The Islander Resort is the official tournament headquarters and special room rates are available for tournament participants. Call Shannon O'Berry at their reservation desk at 1-800-753-6002.

CHARTER BOATS:
Charter boats are available at all of the local marinas in Islamorada. Whale Harbor charter boats are close to the hotel and can be booked by calling 305-664-4511. Holiday Isle is just a short drive away and ask for charter desk at 800-327-7070. Bud N' Mary's has some great charter boats also and you can speak with anyone there at 800-742-7945. You can also contact World Wide Sportsman www.worldwidesportsman.com which has some great charter boats also.
